Years after serving as a Power Ranger ( and a few after suriviving a
failed Dinosuar experiment) Dr. Tommy Oliver begaisn his duties as a
Palentology Teacher at Reefside High. Three stuedents,
Conner, Ethan, and Emma get sent to detention by the new School
Principal. Conner is a jock, Ethan is a copmputer geniiis and
Kirais a aspriing muscian. Dr. Oliver is forced to oversee the kid's
detention. He brings them to an musuem he has to go to. He lets them go
off to look for prehistoric items in the woods while he tends to
bussniess.
The trio of teens got on each other's nerves and wind up in an
underground base. They find three gems and take them. This alerts the
evil Mesogog, who has been searching for those Dino Gems. He sends his
tranadrones after the Rangers. The teens discover that their
gems have given them ehanhced phsycial abilites. They are able to
defeat
the tranodones. They decide to hide the gems from Oliver. Mesogog had
Kira kidnapepd, which forces Conner and Ethna to go to Oliver. They
learn he owns the base they went into and that they have bonded with
the Dino Gems. Kira was able to escape and jion her friends. Oliver
gives the three morphers that allow them to harness the power of their
gems to become Power Rangers. They were able to recover Mesogog's
Biozords and turn them into Dino Zords.
Mesogog is a dinosuar like being who was obsessed with recreating
prehistoric time. He is assisted by the ruthless Elsa and the
loyal cyborg, Zeltrax.. He uses his geo randomizer to create monsters
to
attack the Rangers. Mesogog apeared after Tommy's mentor and partner ,
Anton Mercer disapeared. Mesogog robbed the two men of their work
and reprogramed it for evil.
The Rangers soon learn of Tommy's past of a Power Ranger and how
Hayley is his assitant ( the one who built the moprhers). Tommy soon
findd his own Dino Gem and is able to morph into the Black
Ranger. Devin and Caissdy are to school reporters who would later
try to find their idenities. The Rangers befreiend Trent, who
turns out to be the
adopted son of Anton Mercer. Anton had resurfaced but gave Oliver the
cold shoulder. Mercer was against Trent's art talent and wanted him
to follow his footsteps.

Trent begin to notice wierd things in his father's office. He finds a
portal to Mesogog's lab. Mesogog had found his own evil Dino Gem. This
gem bonded with Trent and tutned him into the evil White Ranger.
Trent's personal life became a mess due to his alternate personality.
As the White Ranger he became a menace to the DT team. He trapped
Doctro Oliver in amber. When Oliver was freed he still remained stuck
in morphrf form. Eventually, Trent's alternate personality overtook him
fully. Trent refused to jion Mesgog and perfered to work alone. Trent
soon discovered that Anton Mercer was indeed Mesogog. Trent attempted
to ovethrow Mesogog but was thrwarted and aggreed to work for Mesogog.
Oliver finds out that Zeltrax is actually Smitty, his old rival who was
injured in a explosion. Mesogog rebuilt Smitty as Zeltrax, who
vowed to defeat Tommy. Principal Randle is actually Elsa, who was
ordered to get close to Oliver.
Mercer reveals to Trent that he wasn;t on Mesogog's side. He
expeirmented on hismelf with Dinosuar DNA. It crrated his alternatr
prrhistoric personality. He has no control over hsi actions as Mesogog.
He wants Trent to be good. Trent is freed from the White Dino Gem's
control during a lab accident . He is returned to his normal
personality. He is able to jion the Rangers but refuses to tell them
about Mesogog's true idienity. Trent helps Oliver to retrieve the
Trassic
Shield, which allowes Conner to morph into the Trassic Ranger.
Zelttrax has cloned Trent's powers to create the evil White Ranger
Clone.
Olvier semingly defeats Zeltrax in a clamatic battle. Later, Oliver.is
made invisible by a strange goo. He tries to use his dino gem to
restore
himself to normal . Oliver is restored to his unmorphed form, but
is left in a
coma. In the ocma he battles his three past Ranger forms, Green Ranger,
White Ranger, and Zeo Ranger V. He survives the test of survival and is
able to wake from his coma. He resumes his teaching duties t
Reefside High.
Zeltrax returned to seek the power of a poweful tree. He was able to
use it to gain a more poweful form. Conner is able to unleash the
power of his new battlizer to defeat Zeltrax. Who reman a rogue, no
longer loyal to Mesogog. Trent soon relizes that he and White Ranger
Clone could not exist together anymore due to the Morphing Grid only
able to support one of them,. In a clamactic battle, Trent defeats the
clone for good.
Rendall is soon foundo ut to be Elsa. Later Elsa exposes Mercer as
Mesogog. The other Rangers are mad that Trent did not tell hm. Trent
was able to prove his true loyality to the team. Mesogog uised a
formula to split himself from Mercer and take his former host hostage.
Mesogog has created a new weapon that woudl turn every human into
a dinosuar like him. He punishes Elsa and suckz he
rpower away, causing hdr to revert to her nomal human form.
The Rnagers recovered her znd learn she was actually a brainwashdd
civiilan all along.
The Rangers are able to attack Mesogog's island and destory his weapon.
Trent saves his dad and the two escaped to mesogog's lab. Zeltrax
found Dino Ops and levels it. He takes Elsa
as his hostage. The Rangers are forced to sacrifice the Megazords to
defeat Zeltrax's Zel Zord. Elsa is saved by Oliver and Kira. The two
are
able to destory Zeltrax in his new powered up form. Mesogog emerges,
having been mutated futher yb the dino gems. The Rangers use all the
powers of their gems to destory Mesogog once and for all. The gems
lose all their power but the battle is over. The Rangers celebrate
at the prom, with all their firends and allies.
